Oceanside, CA, 29th November 2012 | Jeff Cotrupe, Global Program Director, Stratecast | Frost & Sullivan, presented the 2012 Best Practices Award for Technology Innovation in Customer Engagement Platforms to Sitecore at Sitecore Symposium 2012 in Las Vegas. Cotrupe made the presentation to Sitecore USA President Bjarne Hansen. Also at the event, Cotrupe interviewed Sitecore CEO Michael Seifert. In this video of that exchange, the two discuss the Award and the major challenges and opportunities in Big Data, business intelligence (BI) and analytics.

Thousands of customers and partners joined Sitecore at the event, and activity was equally brisk online. Cotrupe (Twitter handle @MarketPowerPLUS), Sitecore executives Beth Torrie (@bethtorrie) and Kimberly McCabe (@kimberlymccabe), and many others generated thousands of tweets throughout the week on the event’s Twitter clickstream, #SitecoreSYM. @MarketPowerPLUS now has more than 10,300 followers.
